So here we are, merely 7 days into the release of Fellowship of the Ring, and earlier estimates (from the Hollywood Reporter) have LOTR making 95.3 million dollars for that period!!! Considering each movie approximately cost 90 million to make, I have a feeling Fellowship of the Ring will cover the cost of all three movies worldwide!
